Starting with the shell, LS2 uses their proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA), which is lightweight, ultra-strong, and offers a bit of flexibility as part of the energy management system. This advanced material incorporates nanotechnology to blend aramid fibers into a high-end polymer, providing superior energy management and penetration resistance while maintaining a lightweight shell.

Additionally, LS2 utilizes 3 separate shell sizes to ensure the smallest and lightest shell for individual head sizes. The EPS safety liner is made with true multi-density material to cover all 360 degrees for optimal energy management. The interior comfort padding uses high-tech fabric to wick moisture, dry quickly, and keep the pilot cooler. The liner is fully removable and washable, and includes LS2’s Emergency Release System for added safety.

The helmet features multiple intake and exhaust ports for flow-through ventilation, as well as an optically correct Class A polycarbonate shield, an internal drop-down sun shield, and a quick release chin strap.
